3D sculpts my viewers ask for: 31.1k followers and a 12.7M-view reel
I started @averse3d in 2025 to practice 3D sculpting. I ask viewers what they want me to sculpt, then post the piece with funny commentary and editing.
| 31.1k | followers |
|---|---|
| 12.7M | views on the most-watched reel |
| 16.5M | views on the five most-watched reels (12.7M, 1.6M, 1M, 961k, 233k) |
How it works
The audience picks the next piece: I ask what they want to see, sculpt it, and post the result with commentary and edits on top. The account also points people to the 3D-printable models I sell.
What I learned
- Let the audience pick
- When viewers choose the next sculpt, every post is something people already asked for, and they come back to see how it turned out.
- The edit carries the art
- My top reel reached 12.7M views on an account of 31.1k followers, roughly 400 times its own audience. The commentary and editing are what take a sculpt to people who don't follow 3D art.
- Practice in public
- I started the account to get better at sculpting. Posting each piece kept me finishing work on a schedule instead of leaving it half done.
